Loz went back into the bathroom to get the ducky out of the bath so Yazoo could fix his wing like he promised. He hadn't told him it was a duck yet, though, and he might not have promised exactly but Loz was sure the middle brother would be more than capable of fixing a wing. Then he and the duck could have a long and meaningful friendship and go for walks down by the river and –

It wasn't what you'd call a quiet morning at the Valenwind home; it was just less chaotic than usual. Hardly anything had been blown up or destroyed in the last week, and Cid and Vincent were finally able to relax for a while without having to keep the Sephlings in eyesight.
